Are City being fair

The whole sorry saga over Carlos Tevez seems as if the selfishness of the football clubs owners has won and an unhappy player will remain there until January at least.
There are those who will accuse Tevez of being greedy or holding the club to ransom but that just isn't the case. It is a simple decision that all fathers would understand. His family and especially his daughters can not settle in England. Tevez voiced concerns last season and City through money at a situation hoping for it to go away. If somebody offered you more money to try then you are going to. The way City have handled this whole affair is a disgrace. OK they want value for their star asset but have they not considered what the other players make of this situation. How would the English players feel if they were being told they could not see their kids. They respect Tevez as a player and for his ability but understand his point. All City have done is try to hike up his valuation to frighten off interest, niggle with the clubs who have made offers and question other cubs payment schedules. Corinthians were willing to risk 25% of TV revenue for Tevez but obviously the cash isn't there yet. All City wanted was for Tevez to be forced to stay because City know once he is on a football pitch he never gives anything less than 100%. Now City are reluctant to swap Tevez out of the Premiership and I find it disgusting. I wouldn't usually say this but maybe Tevez should stay over in Brazil. It would of been nice if football could of been put to one side and a loan deal with Tevez's wages being paid would of seen City not lose face or finance. Maybe that is why so many players don't want to join. The money may be attractive but there has to be substance there as well. It's Tevez and his family I genuinely feel for in all of this and a warning must go out to all City would be players and youngsters out there. Don't make a move based on money because as Tevez is being shown, if things are not working out, clubs have lost their humanity.
